Today I will be talking about weight and how it affects us, I will be talking about being underweight and overweight. So here goes...

When you step on that scale and see your weight you may wish it was lower or higher and thats completley normal but to get to be the way you prefer you can't do things that harm your body. For example if your overweight don't go on crazy diets and don't just stop eating (check out our article on eating disorders). And if your underweight don't just eat junk food to get you heavier. 

Being Overweight

Being overweight can be very hard because other people may treat you diffrently. They could call you names or talk behind your back regarding your apearence. So if this happens to you then just ignore the coments because anyone saying mean things about you isn't really your friend.

I also noticed that bigger girls tend  to wear large clothes so they can hide there body shape and this can make them apear bigger so I will add a new fashion article about what to wear for diffrent bodies. They also can be very self concience and don't feel comthrable with tight clothes or bathing suits on.

So if you are larger them try to extersize and eat healthy. You can even make small changes to your life style like walking or biking to school instead of driving. ,Maybe you can get a makeover, a new hairstyle or change your hair to give you more confidence.

Being Underweight

When your underweight you don't get as much support as overweight girls do because most of the time its because of your metabolism or how active you are but it still is very hard for you.

Others may say your anorexic or bulimic and this could make you upset. The reason they say these things is because they might be jelous of how skinny you are and could want to be more like you. Hold your head up high and forget about what they say because if its not true then theres no reason to worry.

If you want to gain weight then do it in a healthy matter don't just sit down and eat junk food all day. Make sure that your still extersizing. The best healthy foods, that contain many calories but still enough nutrition are meats and alteratives - such as : Nuts, steak, chicken, eggs, ect. For the meat make sure you cut off all the fat.
